This study highlights the inspiring success stories of beneficiaries who have experienced transformative changes through this intervention. The willingness of implementing partners to share their experiences has been essential in demonstrating the effectiveness of combining ECD with economic empowerment, emphasizing the importance of holistic support for families.
It was conducted to identify good practices and lessons learned from the existing reports, implementing partners, and field exercise related to the three identified outputs for this review. The study employed qualitative phenomenological research approach to document stories, lessons, and effective practices from the project’s implementation context (Sovacool et al., 2018). The study was conducted in Yumbe (West Nile Region), Kyegegwa (Western Uganda) and Kampala (Central region). The participants included project staff, and beneficiaries (parents and caregivers) of the ECD and ERD programmes.
